Do cabins have WiFi?

Yes! All cabins have high speed fiber internet and WiFi included at no additional cost.

While we love our furry friends, we have a strict no pet policy at Walden Woods.

Do you have trailer parking?

Accepted Answer

We have ample trailer parking. Please park all trailers at the bottom of the hill near the pond and unload your ATVs in the parking area rather than pulling the trailer to the top of the hills where cabins are located.

Can I ride my ATV directly to the trails?

Yes! It is legal to ride from our property to the trailhead 1.5 miles away on US Highway 25W.

What kitchen amenities are provided?

Our kitchens are fully equipped with appliances and stocked with cutlery, silverware, dishes, pots,  pans, coffee maker, and toaster. Note that The Florence and The Oscar are kitchenettes and do not have a stove/oven.

Yes! All cabins come fully stocked with towels, linens, shampoo, and soaps.

Can I fish in the ponds?

Yes! We just ask that you release what you catch. Our ponds are stocked with bass and bluegill.

Do you have wildlife on the property?

Yes. We frequently see squirrels, deer, and turkey. However we also see larger wildlife including elk and bear. Please do not approach wildlife, and keep all trash and food secured indoors to avoid attracting animals. Please place all trash in the trashcans provided.

Is there a minimum stay requirement?

We typically require a two-night minimum stay. Please contact us directly if you wish to stay only one night.

Do cabins have heating and air conditioning?

Yes! All cabins are equipped with air conditioning and heating to ensure a comfortable stay year-round.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations within 30 days of a check-in will result in full charge, but the cleaning fee will be refunded. A $100 cancellation fee applies for cancellations more than 30 days in advance. We encourage you to purchase the trip insurance offered when booking your stay.

How do I access the cabin?

You will receive a keypad code for self-check-in. Check-in is flexible after 3 pm.

Can I do laundry?

Complimentary washing machines and dryers are available for guest use in the Wash House (or in-unit for Alonzo's Quarters). Please bring your own detergent and supplies.

Yes, we have outdoor grills available for your use. Please bring your own charcoal!

Yes, in our fire pits! Firewood is available for an additional fee.
